Reunion 2025 was a special weekend at St. Mark’s, filled with memories, conversations, and excitement. Alumni from many different classes returned to Southborough to see old friends, meet current students, and learn how the school has changed, while also keeping its longstanding traditions alive.
The weekend started on Friday, May 2, with registration in the Hinkle Room. The Class of 1975 had a special lunch and visited classes such as Latin Literature, Physics, and Global Citizenship. In the afternoon, student prefects led campus tours, and the day ended with a joyful clambake and dancing under the Belmont Field Tent. Meanwhile, the Class of 2020 celebrated their 5th reunion in Boston, and the Class of 2015 enjoyed a class toast in the Faculty Room.
On Saturday, the schedule was filled with fun activities and learning. Alumni attended “Back to School” master classes in subjects such as Robotics, English, and Math. One highlight was a student performance of Mamma Mia! in the Black Box Theater. Many were amazed by not only the students’ ability to lead the production, but also how much support St. Mark’s has given to them. Later, the head of the school, Dr. Ivory Hills, spoke about the state of the school and led a student leadership panel featuring students from various leadership positions.
Families and alumni also joined afternoon activities like lawn games, soccer, and a 5k Fun Run led by Dr. Barnes. Meanwhile, alumni in STEM met with Dr. Colleen Worrell to discuss building a professional network and mentoring current students.
The evening ended with a chapel service, a toast for the Class of 2020, and an All-Alumni Celebration with music and food under the tent.
Throughout the weekend, alumni also took part in two giving challenges: the Walk of Fame and the End Zone Challenge. These events encouraged alumni to support the school and show pride in their class.
School Reunion 2025 was more than a gathering. School reunion will always continue as a valuable tradition in St. Mark’s, as both a reminder of the strong connection between St. Mark’s and its community, and how that bond continues through each generation.
